Dog Daze - Pacifica Dog Park Fundraiser
The Pacifica Organization Of Canine Helpers is holding a fundraiser for
the proposed dog park for Pacifica on May 14th, 2011 in Frontierland Park from 10AM to 4PM. Some booths are still available,
so contact them if you'd like to participate. Sounds like a howling good time for a worthy community cause!

and Recreation Department
Spring Events
The Pacifica Parks, Beaches, and Recreation Department has announced some great family events:
On April 22 there is a Spring Egg Hunt at 4 pm at Fairmont Park located at 649 Parkview Circle
On April 23 there is a Spring Egg Hunt at 10 am at Frontierland Park located on Yosemite Drive
The 47th Annual Junior Olympic for school-age children starts on April 27 at 3:30 PM. Mandatory preliminary heats
for Groups I & II are on May 4 at 3:30 PM. Finals for Groups III & IV on May 7 at 9:00 AM, and finals for
groups I & II. Applications are available at local schools, the PB&R Dept and the Community Center.

Pacific Coast Fog Fest
The annual Pacific Coast Fog Fest is held each year on the last Saturday and Sunday in
September. Each year thousands of people gather along our scenic Palmetto Avenue to see the sights and sounds of
this fun event. Over 150 booths filled with arts and crafts from all over the state, along with live music and
great food! 2011 marks the Fog Fest's 25th Anniversary.

Coastside Farmer's Market
The Coastside Farmer's Market is held every Wednesday at 200 Rockaway Beach. You'll find lots of fresh produce and special attractions in Pacifica's own Farmer's Market.
