Pacifica Peace People presents a showing of the film "Oil on Ice" at the Sanchez Concert Hall on Sunday, November 13, at 4 p.m.
The film concerns the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and the current administration's attempt to open it to oil drilling. Native peoples of the Arctic and our civilization's energy consumption are related topics covered in the film.
Steve Michelson, the film’s executive producer, will speak after the film. The Sierra Club Loma Prieta Chapter, the Pacifica Ocean Discovery Center, the Livability Project and Pacificans For Sustainable Development are cosponsoring this event.
A donation of $5 is requested at the door, although no one will be turned away for lack of funds. The hall is wheelchair-accessible.

The annual Pacific Coast Fog Fest is held each year on the last Saturday and Sunday in September. Each year thousands of people gather along our scenic Palmetto Avenue to see the sights and sounds of this fun event. Over 150 booths filled with arts and crafts from all over the state, along with live music and great food! Don't miss it!
